Malala Yousafzai was in Washington, DC to speak at the World Bank as part of the International Day of the Girl events and GirlsUP Teen Board members were there to hear her tell her story. It was a remarkable experience for them to participate in the event sponsored by the UN Foundation for Girls. Our very own Meghan Murray presented Malala with flowers.
